DCU Futures of Psychology Conference
We were honoured to have been granted the opportunity for three of our team members to present on body image and our research at DCU Psychology's Futures of Psychology event.

On the 18th of June, Dr. Ciara Mahon, Dr. Louise Hanson, and Ms. Clairiz Nel presented at the Futures of Psychology event.
Ciara, the keynote speaker for the day, gave an overview of body image - past, present, and future possibilities. She also dove into topics such as social media influences on body image and intervention design. Louise shared updates on the Attune Project, and insights into codesigning digital body image interventions with young adults. This was supplemented of course, by discussion around digital interventions in an era where AI is omnipresent. Finally, Clairiz shared findings from her realist synthesis, as well as the importance of research methods that allow us to understand how and why interventions are effective - not just if they're effective or not.
Overall, the day was a huge success for the team, and we would like to extend our gratitude to DCU Psychology for allowing us to discuss all things body image!
